Support that's built around you.

Expert assessment and therapy for voice, communication and swallowing. Personalised to your goals and delivered where it suits you. No pressure, no confusion. Just warm, practical care built around you.

How we support you

Every area below is part of one personalised plan, shaped around your goals and the things that matter most to you.

Voice

Support for how your voice sounds and feels. We assess and treat pitch, volume, quality and stamina, along with persistent chronic cough, so you can use your voice with confidence, without strain, discomfort or disruption to daily life.

What this can include

Who it helps: For anyone whose voice feels tired, strained or unreliable, including heavy voice users like teachers and performers. People who have had a cough or throat clear for longer than 8 weeks.

Speech

Support for how sounds are produced and put in sequence, so your speech is clearer and more easily understood. When speech is unclear or effortful, conversations that once felt natural can become exhausting or frustrating.

What this can include

Who it helps: For anyone who finds speaking effortful, or feels they aren’t understood as easily as they’d like including people who have had strokes or traumatic brain injuries.

Language

Support for how you understand and express yourself, across both spoken and written language: reading, writing, comprehension, and expression.

What this can include

Who it helps: For people rebuilding language after a stroke or injury, and anyone finding words and understanding harder than before.

Swallowing (dysphagia)

Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties, to reduce the risk of aspiration and protect your quality of life around mealtimes.

What this can include

Who it helps: For people living with the effects of acquired brain injury, head and neck cancer, stroke, Parkinson’s or dementia, and the families who support them.

Social communication

Support for the social use of language: understanding context, taking turns, reading nonverbal cues, and navigating conversations.

What this can include

Often part of support for autistic people, people with acquired brain injury, or developmental differences.
